On 4 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, hosted the reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Thailand's Father day at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi. The event was given an honour by the presence of His Excellency Yacoub Yousef Al Hosani, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Organisations Affairs as the Guest of Honour, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation , private sectors, diplomatic corps and the Thai community in Abu Dhabi.

Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya delivered the remarks emphasizing the close and cordial relations between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates in all fields.

Furthermore, the event was also entertained by Thai traditional performances and varieties of authentic Thai cuisine by all best Thai restaurants in Abu Dhabi.
