On Tuesday 23 June 2020, Mr. Waravuth Pouapinya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates, witnessed the medical aid shipment from the Government and people of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Thailand.

The 10.58 metric tonnes of medical aid shall be given to various medical institutions in Thailand to fight against COVID-19. Thailand is the 68th country that the UAE government has provided humanitarian medical aid to help combating the COVID-19. The Royal Thai Embassy, on behalf of the Thai Government and the Thai people, would like to express our deep appreciation to the Government and the people of the United Arab Emirates for their kind gesture and good will, reflecting our close and cordial relations.
