The non-Thai nationals who are married to the Thai nationals or children of the Thai nationals may apply for entry permit into the Kingdom of Thailand through the following procedures:
1. Applicants may contact the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai to apply for “Certificate of Entry into the Kingdom of Thailand” at least 15 working days before the date of intended departure. Applicants must submit the following documents to the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General,
(1) Declaration Form
(2) Copy of passport of the non-Thai national married to the Thai national / children of the Thai national
(3) Copy of spouse’s Thai passport / parent’s Thai passport
(4) Proof of relationship with Thai nationals, such as a copy of marriage certificate or birth certificate.
(5) A copy of valid health insurance covering all expenditures of medical treatment, including COVID-19 with the minimum coverage of 100,000 USD.
2. The Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General will forward the request and related document to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom Thailand for consideration with relevant Thai authorities on a case-by-case basis, taking into account urgency and humanitarian reasons.
3. Should the entry request be approved, the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General will issue “Certificate of Entry” and “appropriate visa” for the applicant (if the applicant does not have a valid visa to enter Thailand). In order to collect the “Certificate of Entry” from the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General, the applicant must present the following documents:
(1) Travel plan (Confirmed Air Ticket)
(2) Copy of Fit to Fly Health Certificate (issued no more than 72 hours before departure date)
(3) Copy of COVID-free Health Certificate (test negative for COVID-19) (issued no more than 72 hours before departure date)
(4) Confirmation of Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ)
*** The applicant must arrange his/her own 14-day Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) at his/her own expense. More information, including list of permitted hotels can be found at http://hsscovid.com/
4. The applicant is required to present the following documents to the airline check-in counter on the departure date :
(1) Certificate of Entry obtained from the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General;
(2) A complete and signed “Declaration Form” given by the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General;
(3) A Fit-to-Fly Health Certificate issued by any local medical institutions with validity of no more than 72 hours before departure;
(4) Covid-free Health Certificate (test negative for COVID-19 and issued no more than 72 hours before departure)
(5) Valid health insurance covering all expenditures of medical treatment, including COVID-19 with the minimum coverage of 100,000 USD.
5. Upon entry into the Kingdom, the applicant must submit a T.8 form upon entry into the Kingdom. Download form at https://thaiembdc.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/T8_form.pdf or register online through AOT phone application at https://aot-app.kdlab.ai/. In addition, the applicant is subjected to 14 - day state quarantine at the Government-designated Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) facility at the applicant’s own expense, and obliged to comply with the Government’s disease prevention measures.
