Celebrating ASEAN Day | Strengthening Bonds & Looking Ahead! 

In the spirit of ASEAN Day (8 August) , we proudly highlight a meaningful step forward in deepening the ASEAN–UAE partnership.
On August 7, 2025, the ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi, comprising the Ambassadors of ASEAN Member States to the UAE, convened its third meeting and paid a joint call on H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The discussions reaffirmed the strong and growing ties between ASEAN and the UAE.

Led by H.E. Husin Bagis, Ambassador of Indonesia to the UAE and Chair of ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi, joined by the Ambassadors of Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of Singapore, explored new avenues for cooperation across key areas, including trade, investment, climate action, and environmental protection, underscoring our shared commitment to a sustainable future.
This collaboration is part of the broader UAE–ASEAN Joint Action Plan 2024–2028, building upon the UAE’s status as a Sectoral Dialogue Partner of ASEAN since 2022.

Together toward a more connected, resilient, and prosperous future.
