On 18 May 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy was deeply honoured to receive His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE. His Highness graciously met and held a discussion with the Most Venerable Chief Monk and his delegation, promoting interfaith dialogue and mutual understanding. He also took the opportunity to meet with members of Team Thailand in the UAE and Thai Buddhists who had gathered at the Embassy to extend their warm welcome. This high-level visit was both significant and deeply appreciated, as part of the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the UAE this year.
