On 10 March 2022, His Excellency Mr. Thongplew Kongjun, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, Mr. Kemkaeng Yutidhammadamrong, Director General Department of Agricultural Extension, together with Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Eng Saif Mohammed Rashid Saeed Al Shara Al Samahi, Assistant Undersecretary Food Diversity Sector of Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. On the said occasion, both sides discussed and exchanged views on the promotion of bilateral trade and investment in the agricultural sector, which His Excellency the Permanent Secretary of Thailand reiterated Thailand's potential and readiness to support the goals of the UAE on food security.
