On 20 June 2023, His Excellency Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand, together with Ms. Nantaporn Laobooncharoe, Deputy Consul General, Mr. Pitichai Ratananaka, Director, Thai Trade Center, and officers were granted an audience with H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The two sides discussed ways and means to stregthen bilateral ties and boost cooperation in various aspects especially trade and tourism.
Afterwards, the delegation visited and met with executives of Ras Al Khaimah's leading authorities and a company, namely, 1) Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone 2) Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority 3) RAK Ceramics and 4) Streit Group
