On 31 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE, presided over the first meeting of Team Thailand in the UAE for 2025 at the Arabian Nights Village, Abu Dhabi. The Tourism Authority of Thailand Dubai Office hosted the event, with the Consul-General in Dubai, officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai, the Thai labour office, and Thailand's Board of Investment, along with delegates from PTT, PTT Exploration and Production, and SCG in attendance.

 

The meeting focused on the 2024 year-end review and discussed plans for 2025, particularly activities celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Thailand-UAE diplomatic relations. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to engage in team-building exercises and experience the traditional life and culture in the desert.
