On 8 January 2020, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya paid a courtesy call to Her Excellency Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the President’s Office of Zayed University (Abu Dhabi campus).

Both sides discussed ways and means to enhance cooperation in the field of cultural diplomacy and various cultural activities of Thailand and the UAE.

The Minister showed her interest in the curriculum of hospitality and tourism management in Thai universities which the Ambassador offered to arrange training courses for the UAE personnel if required. A cordial invitation to visit Thailand was also extended to the Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development to witness by herself the Thai cultural preservation and promotion.
