Guidelines for Foreign Nationals Travelling to Thailand

During COVID-19 Pandemic

 

According to the Notification of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand dated 19 March 2020, every foreign passenger, who wishes to travel into/transit through the Kingdom of Thailand by air transportation, must present the following documents at the airlines check-in counter in order to obtain a boarding pass:

1. Health Certificate with the laboratory test result certifying that the passenger/s “have no evidence of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)”. The said health certificate and test result must be issued no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel.

2. Health Insurance/Health Insurance Policy showing minimum medical coverage of USD 100,000 in Thailand and covers for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

For any passenger who is unable to present these required documents, the airlines shall not issue a boarding pass and boarding shall be denied

Please note that the above-mentioned measures shall be effective from 21 March 2020 at 21.00 hrs. UAE local time.
