On 23 - 24 October 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate-General in Dubai repatriated the 17th batch of Thai nationals in the UAE affected by COVID-19 back to their homeland, bringing 2,889 Thai nationals in total back home.
This batch of nationals has been tested a PCR COVID-19 (Nasal Swab Test) by the medical institutions in the UAE with negative results for COVID-19. Moreover, all nationals received medical check from Dr. Sunil Pawa, a Thai-Indian medical doctor, who has kindly supported the mission by conducting health examination and issuing fit-to-fly medical certificate to all passengers at the Embassy.
The Embassy would like to express our thanks and appreciation to those authorities concerned both in Thailand and in the UAE for their kind and supportive favor for the success of these repatriation missions.
