Phra Phrommethee and delegation performed Buddhist ceremony at the new site of the RTE in Abu Dhabi

      On 17 June 2012, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi invited Phra Phrommethee, member of the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand, and 9 other Buddhist monks to the Embassy to lead prayers and preach before approximately 50 members of the Thai community in the UAE. Ambassador Somchai Charanasomboon and the participants offered food to the monks for a luncheon and received prayers and preach.
      The monks were visiting the UAE in order to monitor the examination of Third Scholar of Divinity in Dubai, which was held for the first time in the Middle East on 16 June 2012.
