The Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, together with Thai Ladies’ Club in Abu Dhabi  organized Thai Day 2013  on 1 February, 2013,  during 13.00 - 18.00 hrs. at  the residence of Thai Ambassador, H.E. Warawudh Chuwiruch. The purpose of the event is to boosting good relations and cooperation among Thai Ladies’ Club in Abu Dhabi, promoting Thai food, merchandises and Thai massages in UAE, as well as promoting goodwill of Thailand, Thai culture and tourism.
            The theme of the event is “A Touch of Thai …Thai Day, experience it yourself”.  The Embassy has decorated stalls in Thai style, decorated with hand- painted umbrellas from  the Northern part of Thailand, and offered famous authentic Thai food and delicacy from every part of Thailand, including fried mussels, Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung, Som Tum, Thai fruits and Thai desserts, such as famous Look Choob, all of which were supported from Thai Ladies’ Club in Abu Dhabi. It witnessed about 700- 800 visitors that increased much more than prior year. In addition, beautiful Thai traditional dance and Thai musician were performed on the stage with admiration. Besides, the Embassy had disseminated brochures about Thailand and tourism in Thailand to the visitors that were interested.
