The Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi participated in Asian Food Fair 2013 on Saturday, 2nd March 2013 from 11.00-15.00 hrs at the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The event was organized by the Asian Ambassadors’ Wives Group in Abu Dhabi.
           Asian Food Fair 2013 was held for the fourth consecutive year following a successful outcome from previous years. The purpose is to promote Asian cultural identities through food and performances as well as to strengthen Asian and ASEAN communities within the UAE.
           The Thai stall was decorated in Thai style by Ms. Aroonwan Chuwiruch, spouse of H.E. Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, and offered famous authentic Thai food and delicacy including Som tum, Pad Thai, Tom yum Koong and Tub Tim Grob. The popular Thai cuisine had attracted a large crowd resulting all of the food were out of the stall within the first two hours of the event. 
           The Royal Thai Embassy also made other significant contributions to the overall great success of the Fair, included fashion show (regional Thai costumes) and typical Thai dance performed by Thai ladies, which attracted a crowd of more than 600 people including plenty of Arabs, Asians, and foreigners in UAE.
