On 11 March 2013, H.E. Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, together with Mr. Suppachai Srilar, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Political Development, Mass Communication and Public Participation, House of Representatives of Thailand, and members of the Standing Committee visited the Federal National Council (FNC) of the UAE.
           The Ambassador and members of the Standing Committee were given warm hospitality by H.E. Rashed Mohammed Al Sheraiqi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of FNC. After both sides had discussed areas of collaboration and issues of mutual interests, the Thai delegates were guided through the auditorium and important premises of the FNC by H.E. Al Sheraiqi himself.
           Before the visit to the FNC, the Ambassador had hosted a dinner in honour of the Standing Committee at his residence on 10 March 2013 and briefed the delegates on the UAE’s economic, political and social background as well as Thai-UAE relations.
