On 6 May 2013, H.E. Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, and Mr. Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn, Thai Consul-General to Dubai, along with members of Team Thailand in the UAE attended the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2013 at Dubai International Convention Centre.
           The Ambassador and the Consul-General visited the Thai Pavilion and greeted some 70 exhibitors from Thailand, ranging from provincial tourism associations to hotels and resorts, travel agencies, hospitals, restaurant etc. They shared useful experiences on how to attract more tourists from the UAE and other countries to travel to Thailand.
           ATM is the biggest annual tourism exhibition in the Middle East. This year’s edition, which runs from 6 to 9 May, comprises of over 3,000 exhibitors from 87 countries and was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
