On 25 April 2014, H.E. Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, gave certificates to 13 Thai children who have studied Thai language at the Royal Thai Embassy during 2013-14 academic year.  The certificates represent the Embassy’s token of appreciation to the children’s determination to learn the Thai language as well as to their parents who have supported them.  Afterwards, the Ambassador invited all teachers, students and parents to a luncheon at his Residence.
           The Embassy has been providing classroom and teaching equipments for the Thai language classes since 2009, in order to support the improvement of writing and reading skills of Thai children who already speak Thai fluently. At present, the classes take place at the Embassy every Friday (which is public holiday) between 10.00-12.00 hrs. The students are between 6 and 15 years old and divided into three classes according to their knowledge level.  They are taught by volunteers from the Thai community in Abu Dhabi.
