On 11 August 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai celebrated the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 85th Birthday Anniversary which was presided over by H.E. Mr Komate Kamalanavin, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates. The Thai Ambassador led the participants to pay homage and best wishes to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit as well as the singing of the royal anthem. The auspicious event was attended by Mr Annop Buranasate, Thai Consul General to Dubai, and his spouse, Head of Thai Offices in the UAE as well as diplomats and staff from Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Royal Thai Consulate-General, and over 70 Thais nationals living in the United Arab Emirates. The signing of a book of homage was also made available during the said celebration.
