The Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Thai Chef Community of Abu Dhabi and the Thai Women's Circle in Abu Dhabi jointly organized the Third Edition of the Thai Halal Cooking Class for representatives of the media in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday 23 September 2018 from 11.00-13.00 hrs. at the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi. A number of media from lifestyle and food sectors in the United Arab Emirates attended the event to have hands-on experience how to prepare authentic Thai Halal food.

The Thai Halal Cooking Class aims to promote Thai Halal cuisine to the Emirati general public. At the event, Thai chefs from Thai five star restaurants, namely Benjarong - Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Pachaylen Restaurant – Eastern Mangrove Resort and Spa, Lemongrass Restaurant and Desert Lotus Restaurant, representing the Thai Chef Community of Abu Dhabi demonstrated how to prepare some selected Thai Halal dishes, for example, Thai Style Chicken Dumpling, Chicken Massaman Curry, Thai Spicy Green Papaya Salad (Som Tam) and Steamed Rice Flour with Coconut and Arabic Dates, to demonstrate that anyone can enjoy Thai Halal food not only at Thai restaurants, but also at home in their own kitchen.
