By the Ministerial Regulation of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Thailand dated 10 January 2019, Thailand will implement a temporary Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) fee exemption scheme, starting from 14 January 2019 to 30 April 2019.
The scheme applies to nationals and holders of passports/travel documents of the countries/territory who are entitled to apply for VoA at the designated immigration checkpoints. It is applicable only for tourism purposes and stay for up to 15 days.
During the aforementioned period, nationals and holders of passports/travel documents of Andorra, Bulgaria, Bhutan, China (excluding Hong Kong and Macao), Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Taiwan are exempted from Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) fee of 2,000 baht.

By the Ministerial Regulation of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Thailand, the aforementioned scheme has been extended until 31 October 2019.
