On 10 October 2024, on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty the late King. His Excellency Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand, presided over the ceremony, which included Buddhist chants by monks from Thailand, a merit making activity, meditation and Dhamma discussions. Staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, representatives from Team Thailand and members of the Thai community in the United Arab Emirates participated in the event to pay tribute and remember His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
