On 21 July 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, joined by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai, organized a merit-making ceremony to commemorate the auspicious occasion of H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua's Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2023. The ceremony was held at Mahamevnawa Buddhist Temple in Dubai and was presided over by H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UAE. There were around 30 attendees, including representatives from Team Thailand and Thai community in the UAE.

 

At the ceremony, all participants jointly offered donations and food for the monks and prayed together.
