On 16 April 2026, His Excellency Mr. Bolbongse Vangphaen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates, had an audience with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, to present his Letters of Credence at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

On this occasion, the Ambassador conveyed the royal greetings from His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Queen, and Members of the Royal Family, as well as the goodwill of the Thai people, and reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to further strengthening the close and cordial relations between the two countries in all dimensions.

On the same occasion, His Highness conveyed his best wishes to His Majesty the King, the people of Thailand, as well as the Thai community residing in the United Arab Emirates.

On the same day, Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the People’s Republic of China also presented their Letters of Credence.
