On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Thai Labour Office, and the Thai Women's Circle visited the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) to visit the facilities and participate in ZHO student's activities.

On 24 July 2023, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UAE and his spouse led a delegation to visit the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO). This organization works with People of Determination in various dimensions, including vocational training, job seeking, providing educational materials, physical therapy, psychological counseling as well as training for caregivers.

On this occasion, attendees joined ZHO students in sewing scarves and canvas bags produced for sale by the organization. Additionally, they participated in a 3D-printing workshop and took a tour to learn about the facility and tools used by the ZHO for work with People of Determination.

To support the UAE's initiative in vocational training for People of Determination, the Thai Embassy ordered coffee from the "Bee Cafe", a coffee shop run by People of Determination under ZHO management, and cookies from "I Can Cookies," a business owned by Miss Alia Al Zaabi, which were provided as refreshments during the ceremony to commemorate His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua's Birthday Anniversary at the Royal Thai Embassy on 27 July 2023.

The Embassy hopes its cooperation with ZHO will serve as an opportunity to expand Thailand-UAE's endeavor to promote constructive engagement and best practices between the two countries on People of Determination in a sustainable and inclusive manner.
