On 7 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador, welcomed Ms. Somruedee Chaimongkol, CEO and Board Member of Banpu Public Company Limited, Mr. Sinon Vongkusolkit, Group Senior Vice President and incoming CEO of Banpu Public Company Limited, and the delegation who paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador during their first visit to the UAE. The meeting covered opportunities to further initiate energy collaboration with the UAE, which the company considers as the potential main target customer and partner in the GCC in energy technology/ energy solutions, especially in clean energy such as solar energy, battery, e-mobility and renewable energy.
