On 7 June 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Medical Services Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Thai Labour Office in Abu Dhabi jointly organized a roving medical clinic at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

The team of Thai Medical doctors offered health check-ups and consultations to the Thai expatriate community, students and Embassy staff which included lung check-ups, blood pressure monitoring and diabetes tests. Around 60 Thais visited the Embassy for the said medical check-ups.

 

Prior to organizing the roving medical clinic, His Excellency Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, the Ambassador of Thailand organized a briefing on Thai – UAE relations and the role of the Thai Embassy in protecting and providing support to the Thai community in the UAE for the delegation from the Medical Services Department which was headed by Mr. Khachit Chatchawanit, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Dr. Lertluck Leelaruangsang, Director-General of the Medical Services Department.
