On 11 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE, along with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, warmly welcomed the Thai National Para Athletic Team as they participated in the 2025 Fazza International Para Athletics Championships in Dubai.

 

The Ambassador and Embassy officials had a chance to cheer on the Thai athletes in the shot put competition, engage in discussions with the coaching staff, and brought home-cooked Thai meals as a token of encouragement for the team.

 

Thailand has been invited to compete in this event annually, providing an opportunity to further develop our athletes' potential and showcase the dedication and talent of the Thai National Para Athletic Team on the international stage.
