Thai Ambassador to the UAE presented Letters of Credence to the President of the UAE

            On 11th January 2010, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon presented the Letters of Credence to H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to the UAE, at Al Mushrif Palace, Abu Dhabi. During the presentation of Credential Letters, the Ambassador conveyed H.M. the King of Thailand’s best wishes to H.H. the President for His Personal good health and the continued prosperity to the Government and the people of the UAE. The Ambassador also expressed his readiness to devote all his efforts to promote, expand and deepen the relations between Thailand and the UAE.

            On this occasion, 9 foreign Ambassadors were present at the Palace to present their Letters of Credence including Ambassador of Turkey, Ambassador of Canada, Ambassador of the Philippines, Ambassador of Hungary,

Ambassador of Senegal, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Ambassador of Thailand, Ambassador of Azerbaijan, and Ambassador of Montenegro. The ceremony was also witnessed by Members of the Ruling Families, Cabinet Members, and High ranking officials of the UAE.

            In this regard, H.H. the President expressed his felicitations to the newly appointed Ambassadors and assured them of the UAE’s full support to facilitate their tasks and assignments to strengthen the ties between each country and the UAE. The President also conveyed his best wishes to all Heads of States through the Ambassadors.
