Thongchai Jaidee, Thailand’s No. 1  and World’s No. 66 golf player participated in  Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in Abu Dhabi

            On 19 January 2011, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Thai Ambassador to the UAE hosted dinner in honour of Mr. Thongchai Jaidee, who participated in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship at Abu Dhabi Golf Club during 20 – 23 January 2011, and wished him a success in this tournament. H.E. the Ambassador and Embassy officials were also present at the venue to support Mr. Jaidee, in which he finished at the 46th place out of 126 players with the score of 3 under par, winning 9,430 Euros. 

             Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship started in 2006 and has become one of the biggest events on the PGA European Tour, regularly attracting some of golf’s most famous names. In 2010 and 2011, Mr. Martin Kaymer, Professional Golfer from Germany won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship Cup for 2 consecutive years.
