On 19 January 2013, H.E. Mr. Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, hosted a dinner reception for Mr. Thongchai Jaidee and Mr. Prom Meesawat, two top Thai golfers who participated at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship during 17-20 January 2013. On this occasion, the Ambassador praised both golfers for their talent and attitude which serves as good examples for Thai sportspersons and youth. The Ambassador also went to cheer on both professionals live at the golf course during public holidays.
           Thongchai Jaidee and Prom Meesawat delivered impressive performances at this tournament, finishing in tied 9th and tied 48th positions respectively, which are better than several superstars.
