On 16 August 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi organized activities for Thai nationals in the UAE to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 81st Birthday Anniversary.
           The activities began in the afternoon with an amicable bowling competition at the Khalifa Bowling Center. In the evening, an official ceremony was held at the Ambassador’s residence with the blessing of best wishes to H.M. the Queen in the signing book, the lighting of candles and the singing of Royal anthem.  H.E. the Ambassador hosted Thai food for dinner, such as sticky rice, grilled chicken, som tam, bamboo salad (bamboo soup in Thai style), chicken curry, fruits and yok-manee. The activities were attended by 250 Thai people who are living and working in the UAE.
