On 19 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE, led the officers and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand, and the Thai communities in the UAE in a commemorative ceremony on the auspicious occasion of the 72nd Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn.

On the same day, the Royal Thai Embassy also organised a volunteering activity to donate 172 sets of essential items and 172 sets of Thai food to local workers attending a Friday prayer at the Alreem Sehmi Al Ahbabi mosque. Imam Sheikh Yusuf extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador and the Thai communities, and also joined them in the activity.
