On 7 March 2022, His Excellency Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya, and the Executives from The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand visited Elite Agro Farm and Marmum Dairy Farm in Al Ain to see the plantation of cool season crops in desert climate and the technological advancement of the agrcultural sector of the UAE. On the said occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand discussed and exchange views with the executives of the farms to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange best practices between Thailand and the UAE in the agricultural sector, as well as the possibility to export more Thai labours and apprentices with skills and experise on agriculture to the UAE.
