On Thursday, 30 September 2021, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya, together with officers from the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai, paid a visit to Al Qasimia University in Sharjah to meet with 141 Thai students who received scholarship from the University and currently take under graduate degree courses in the field of humanity such as Islamic Studies, Economics, Law and Sharia Studies. On the same occasion, the Ambassador also called on Professor Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Chancellor of the University to express his appreciation to the University to grant scholarships to Thai students every year. The well-being of Thai students, educational system of the University were among topics discussed during the meeting with the Chancellor.
