On 15 May 2024, His Excellency Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, the Ambassador of Thailand paid a visit to Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZ University). The Ambassador and his delegation were warmly welcomed by His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of the University and members of the staff and faculty.

 

Both parties discussed prospective cooperation in student exchange programs and education. The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the University for granting scholarships to Thai students, of which 9 are currently studying at the University. The Chancellor commended the Thai students for being diligent, polite and studious and urged the Embassy to send more students to study at MBZ in the future, especially female students who wish to study in the UAE.
