On 28 November 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi hosted a get-together reception at the Embassy for the local press, media, bloggers and influencers in the UAE, as well as Thailand Lovers Group to promote about Thailand in the post-Covid and the upcoming projects of the Embassy, which will help further strengthen and enhance bilateral relations between Thailand and the UAE especially people-to-people dimension, as follows :
1. To promote tourism of Thailand in the post-Covid especially in the secondary provinces/cities in Thailand among the Emiratis to further expand their travel choices to other cities of the country apart from the already well-known destinations like Bangkok, Phuket, and Pattaya.
2. To announce and promote about Thailand's candidature to host the Specialized Expo 2027/2028 in Phuket on the theme of “Future of Life: Living in Harmony, Sharing Prosperity”. And if Thailand is to be selected as the host of this Specialized Expo, Expo 2028 - Phuket will take place from 20 March – 17 June 2022.
3. To invite and promote the Plantation Project of 300 Golden Shower Trees, the national flower of Thailand, on Saturday 3 December 2022 at the 3 public parks in Abu Dhabi (Capital Park, Khalidiyah Park, and Old Airport Park) to commemorate the 45th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and the UAE, as well to celebrate the National Day of the UAE (2 December) and the National Day of Thailand (5 December).
4. To invite and promote Thai Festival 2022, which will take place in Abu Dhabi at Umm Al Emarat Park from 9 to 11 December 2022.
