On Wednesday 30 November 2022, His Excellency Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on behalf of the UAE Government and of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, conferred the Royal Insignia, The Order of Independence (First Class), to Mr. Waravuth Pouapinya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the UAE, in recognition of his dedication to enhance and further strengthen friendly, close and cordial relations and cooperation between the UAE and the Kingdom of Thailand in all fields during his tenure as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates.
