At the National Day Reception (5 December 2025), the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi proudly presented a special exhibition of Chut Thai Phra Ratchaniyom (Thailand's National Dress), to pay homage to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, whose dedication to preserving and elevating Thai textiles has inspired generations. The exhibition featured eight distinctive styles of traditional Thai dresses, each reflecting Thailand’s living heritage, graceful design, refined craftsmanship, and centuries of cultural expression.

Guests were also invited to explore an exquisite display of Thai silk textiles, showcased for the very first time in an exhibition of this kind in Abu Dhabi. Each piece carries its own story, woven by artisans across Thailand’s villages and regions, serving as a universal language that connects people across cultures and generations.

This exhibition featured all eight styles of Chut Thai Phra Ratchaniyom, provided by Kai Kaew Karn Lakorn by Ajarn Surat Jongda. The Thai silk textiles on display were also generously provided from the personal collection of Mrs. Prapassorn Ashwell, a distinguished and dedicated member of the Thai Women's Circle - Abu Dhabi. The Royal Thai Embassy warmly extends its sincere appreciation to Kaikaew Karn Lakorn and Mrs. Prapassorn for their invaluable support.
