The Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi organized the celebration of H.M. the King’s 85th Birthday Anniversary for Thai nationals in the UAE in the evening of 30 November 2012 at the Ambassador’s Residence.
           Over 300 people attended the celebration. After registering their homage and best wishes to H.M. the King in the signing book, the participants were treated with Thai traditional dances, live music, saxophone recital of songs composed by H.M. the King.  They also participated in the raffle draw with various prizes.
           In the formal part, H.E. Mr. Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, led the lighting of candles and the singing of royal anthems.  Afterwards, all participants enjoyed a Thai dinner and mingled.
