Updated quarantine period for travelers entering Thailand
(Effective from 1 October 2021)
- International travelers who have been fully vaccinated with vaccines approved by the Thai Government at least 14 days prior to the departure must undergo quarantine with the period of 7 days
- International travelers who have NOT been vaccinated or not fully vaccinated must undergo quarantine
with the period of 10 days

- Sinovac
- AstraZeneca (or Covishield)
- Pfizer
- Johnson & Johnson
- Moderna
- Sinopharm
- Sputnik V
* Travelers under the age of 18, who have not been fully vaccinated, are required to quarantine
for the same period as their accompaying parent/parents, depending on the vaccination status of the adults.
For the Sandbox Programme
Period of stay within the Sandbox area/ province is reduced from 14 to 7 days. This also applies to unvaccinated children traveling with vaccinated parent/parents.
* International travelers who received the COE (Certificate of entry) before 1 October 2021 can directly contact International Communicable Disease Control at the airport for approval for reduction of quarantine period as well as the hotel regarding the quarantine period and payment.
