1. From 1 November 2021, both Thai and foreign travelers traveling to Thailand have to register for the entry permit through "Thailand Pass" (replacing COE system) on https://tp.consular.go.th/. All travelers must register to get the Thailand Pass QR Code 7 working days prior to departure date. Afterwards, travelers will receive the QR Code to show to the Thai authorities at the airport together with negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result with the validity of 72 hours prior to the departure.

2. Travelers, who plan to travel to Thailand from 29 October - 7 November 2021, must register for the entry using the COE system before 1 November 2021. The pre-approval will be approved by 1 November 2021 and the final approval before the departure date.

3. Travelers, who plan to travel to Thailand after 7 November 2021, must register through the Thailand Pass system, which will be open for registration from 1 November 2021

 

4. Categories and Conditions

4.1 Travelers with Exemption from Quarantine - EQ

- Residents of the UAE (both Thai and foreign nationals), who enter the UAE from other countries, have to reside in the UAE at least 21 days prior to the departure to Thailand.

- Both Thai and foreign travelers, who have residence in Thailand and visit the UAE for a short period of time are exempted from the quarantine when returning to Thailand.

- Travelers have to be fully vaccinated with the vaccines approved by the Thai Government (Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinopharm and Sputnik) for at least 14 days prior to the departure date.

- Foreign travelers must hold a medical insurance with the coverage of no less than 50,000 USD

- Hold a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result with the validity of 72 hours prior to the departure

- Hold a one-day AQ or SHA+ Hotel Booking Confirmation Certificate (accommodation while waiting for the COVID-19 RT-PCR test result upon arrival, After getting a negative result, traveler may check-out)

4.2 Alternative Quarantine - AQ

- Travelers, who have not been fully vaccinated, must undergo 10-day quarantine in a hotel.

- Foreign travelers must hold medical insurance with the coverage of no less than 50,000 USD

- Hold a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result with the validity of 72 hours prior to the departure (not applicable to Thai national unless the airline requests)

- Hold a 10-day AQ hotel booking confirmation certificate and reservation for the COVID-19 RT-PCR test; first test conducted between Day 0-1 and second test conducted between Day 8-9

4.3 Sandbox Programme

- Travelers have to be fully vaccinated with the vaccines approved by the Thai Government (Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinopharm and Sputnik) for at least 14 days prior to the departure date.

- Travelers must remain in the same area of Sandbox Programme for at least 7 days before traveling to other parts of Thailand.

- Foreign travelers must hold a medical insurance with the coverage of no less than 50,000 USD

- Hold a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result with the validity of 72 hours prior to the departure

- Hold a SHA+ Hotel Booking Confirmation Certificate

- Hold a paid receipt of the COVID-19 RT-PCR test in the area of the stay; first test conducted between Day 0-1 and second test conducted between Day 6-9 (depending on the duration of the stay)

4.4 Unvaccinated children with the age under 12 can travel with parents under the same conditions
